Hi all, I usually don't say much on here but today I am...because I'm frustrated. I just wish that Hmong people would open up a little bit. I wish my classical piano playing can be atleast appreciated instead of discouraged. I hate when people think I suck because I'm playing a slow piece, and that the only reason I can be good is if I play a fast piece. I hate when I'm expected to be able to play anything put in my face because I simply can read notes and when I don't deliver I'm considered crappy. I hate when people say, "That's all you've done?" when in fact a piece may take 1/2 a year to a year to learn. And the sad part is that most of this is from Hmong people. I've had people tell me they can do exactly what I do because to them it just sounds like pounding. I understand that the exposure of classical music is very limited and I understand that its mostly the old school people saying this too, but it still makes me frustrated. And then when you decided to compete with the Americans and world, all of a sudden you've supposedly turned your back on your people. It's crap! Then they say, "What can music do any way? It's not like you'll be making money." I'm sorry but I'm just frustrated....because I've spent all semester on two really difficult pieces, and all some people can say is..."you suck." I don't give a damn cause I'm not going to hold myself back to meet the needs of the community. I'm going to dive into the pool with everyone else to better our culture and to open it up so that maybe one day  the true talents of our people will be accepted with no doubt. I know I sound "kooky" but I'm just frustrated.

Buying a laptop is a very hard thing to do. You have to be super careful and picky because you don't want to waste your money. So....I thought about a mac...then a dell..then a hp...compaq...etc. I "had" a gateway but it's all jacked up now. Anywho..I decide to go for a dell to save money but when the dell laptop came the dvd didn't work. I was really upset....so decided to return it...but they were going to charge me a restocking fee. It's so stupid..I didn't mess up the  laptop...so there's yeng on tech support for 3 hours trying to settle this. I'm so glad I have...so anywho...after that was settle...I went out and bought a new macbook..so far it's been great! My recommendations...."Mac"

I ha en't had the greatset luck lately with bugs...and the most ikiest thing happened to me. So there I was with zoe (I'm like her nanny) walking back from the library to their house by the lake shore...I stepped up to open the screen door and something hit my face (left side of my cheek to be precise), then my chest and dropped to the ground. At first I thought it was a leaf but when I looked down it was a gigantic house centipede..AAAAHHH!!! I almost passed out and was panicking but zoe stepped on it and killed it...sniffles...I felt so dirty....
